Once a year, the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) has an annual conference for those in the Organizing and Productivity industry. I had the opportunity to attend this year's conference in Los Angeles with Laura. The conference was filled with informative workshops, speakers, networking and my personal favorite, an Organizing Expo. The Expo was an interactive exhibit hall full of the latest organizing and productivity tools, services and products. An Organizing Specialist's dream! Below are six simple yet remarkably helpful products to help keep you organized and be productive.
What's That Paint?
This product gets the "Why didn't I think of that?" award of the conference! So simple, yet so useful! Keep all of your paint cans organized by using the cute fill-in-the blank, self-stick paint can labels. Fill-in-the blanks for Room, Color, Finish & Base, Brand/Store, Date, and Other. There is also a place to dab the paint color right on the label. Labels come in gallon and quart size. Purchase online at www.whatsthatpaint.com.
The Time Timer is a slick little device that visually accounts for the passage of time through a disappearing red disk. Use the timer in business meetings, while working on a project or with your kids to stay on task and improve productivity. I was thinking it might be helpful for at home workouts as well! The applications are endless! Purchase online at www.timetimer.com.
Origami is a line of sturdy, collapsible racks and shelving units that only take 20 seconds to put together. They don't require any tools for set-up or assembly and they fold flat for storage or transportation. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it myself! Look at the picture of me holding one of the small blue carts! I was surprised how easy it was to fold and pick up. Visit www.origamirack.com to see their entire catalog of products.
If tangled, unorganized cables bug you as much as they do me, you will be interested in the Cable Keeper. Simply insert up to three cables into the Cable Keeper and zip it up. Your cables are now protected and you can bend and wrap them however you like to keep them organized inside your purse, gym bag or on your desk. The product comes in a variety of colors so you can color code and identify cables in a flash. Order online at www.neetproducts.com.
