Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2010 – Database Configuration.
With Business Contact Manager (BCM) for Microsoft Outlook 2010, you and your coworkers can share business data important to everyone. Information in accounts, business contacts, opportunities and projects kept as records in the Business Contact Manager database. The creator of this database is also the database owner and has full control, including granting access permissions or deleting records.
The database owner can share the database only with computers that are on the same network, in the same work group or domain. Users' computers can be members of the same work group or network. A domain is not required to share your database.
In larger installations it is recommended that the database be placed on a dedicated server so that the performance is not impacted by use from a local user. The database platform that BCM operates from is Microsoft SQL.

Eliminate Chaos is one of a few national companies that has the experience and expertise to provide you with a complete Business Contact Manager (BCM) solution customized to your business needs. Before you will be ready to use BCM, you will need to have it installed on your individual computer or configured on your server. While many IT Specialists are familiar with Contacts in Microsoft Outlook, they are not experienced with deploying Business Contact Manager on your Microsoft Server or configuring it to work on individual computers. This is often where our work begins...
Our IT consulting team has implemented this product in countless environments. Once the database has been properly installed and configured, we will work with you to customize the database to your needs. We recognized that there is no one-size-fits-all solution and that is where our expertise shines through. At this point, one of our Specialists will work with you to understand your business and processes and what information you need to be able to report on and use from BCM. Then your existing data from another system will be analyzed so we can define the custom fields we will add to your database before we map and import your information. Finally, you are ready for training and by now because we've worked with your every step of the way, we will know what is important to you to be covered in training and your live data will be ready to use during the training session.
