You must have your own domain name for your email, not a shared or third-party domain. For example, your email address should be similar to your_name@your_domain.com, not your_name@hotmail.com
Provide Access to MX Records
You or your email administrator must be able to provide access for us to log-in and change your DNS MX records (used to direct your mail flow). If you own your domain, you should be able to change your MX records by logging in to your web hosting service or DNS provider. Your DNS my be hosted by your domain registrar such as GoDaddy or Network Solutions. We can assist you in finding this information.
Supported Mail Servers
This service supports Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.
Mail Servers and Service Providers
Supported Service Providers (hosted email): Only the Postini service is compatible with most ISPs and domain name providers that host the email for your own domain. The Exchange Migration service is not compatible with providers that don't release mail server information, or don't allow you to change the MX records with their hosted email service. Currently known providers that are incompatible with the service include 1and1.com and XO Communications. If you are currently hosted with either company, we will need to migrate you away from the provider to someone such as Godaddy in order to complete the process.
