LOCAL ORGANIZING CONSULTANT SPEAKS AT NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Seattle - Local Organizing Consultant, Laura Leist, of Eliminate Chaos, LLC presented at the 2003 Annual Conference and Organizing Expo of the National Association of Professional Organizers held April 30 - May 3 at the Westin Westminster Hotel in Denver, Colorado. Leist taught Organizing & Customizing with Microsoft Outlook, one of four pre-conference classes. This is the second year she has been asked to teach this class at this event.

Leist was one of a record 420 delegates attending the Conference, which is geared to enhancing the continuing education and professional standing of organizers from around the world.

In addition to enhancing her professional organizing skills, Leist was able to view the newest organizational products on the market that were displayed at the Expo.

Leist said "Each year when I attend conference, I learn tips and tricks that have worked well for others in my industry. Here is one idea that stood out this year the most: 'Service Professionals need to determine the value of their time, as well as the value they are providing to the client. This is ultimately what the client is looking for - the value.'"

With the ever-growing trend towards simplicity in the home and workplace, there is an emerging need for the implementation of effective systems, which organizers provide for their clients. According to the US News and World Report 1997, Professional Organizing is one of the top 25 emerging industries.
